Missionary Housing 

MLT - May 2015

Each transfer, missionaries are asked to send in pictures of their houses.  I ask to see the kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, bedrooms, bathrooms, study tables and the toilet!  They are asked to clean their houses every P-Day.  The first Zone for me to receive all the pictures of all the houses in the Zone receive a small prize!  I present it to the Zone Leaders in our MLT and they take it back to share with the Zone in their Zone meeting.   This time I gave a prize to 2 Zones in the North and 2 in the South.  Congratulations to all our missionaries!  They are taking care of their house!  So proud of them!

It is hard to say Good-bye!  We miss them already! 

Elder Gonzalez was an Elder who served in our Mission.  He is from Argentina so who knew we would see him Campo Grande working at this gas station.  We were on our way to the airport and pulled in to fill up our rental car.  We stop at this station all the time.  We were really surprised to see one of our return missionaries working at the station.   Alan Gonzalez.  He served as one of our Missionaries and is from Argentina.  He is now married.  He married a Brazilian and they are living in Campo Grande.   President gave him a big abraço.  It is always good to our missionaries, post mission! 

LASTS

We are starting our wind down to our departure of the Mission.  As we travel the area's of our Mission we know that it will probably be the Last time to see our beautiful Brazilian people and members of our Branches here.

Lunch with Thanya

Thanya is such a wonderful lady here.  She helps so much with feeding and caring for the missionaries.  She remembers all the missionaries who have served in this mission and keeps a book of pictures from the past.   She invited us along with our 2 Senior Couples, the Davis's and Harris's, to her sweet home for lunch.  She wanted to do this before we finished our mission.   She gave each of the sisters an apron.  Of course we had to put them on and take a picture.  She loved it.  We love this lady.
