Branch weekly activity
Attending the Branch weekly activity is something we have trying to support.  This month we assigned Elder and Sister Davis, Elder and Sister Harris each a week to attend.  Then President and I took a turn.  It was fun and well attended.  The kids find joy in simple activities such as musical chairs and relays.  They enjoy being together.

This ym's name is Isaque.  We found him.....or he found us about 9 months ago.  President and I were out in the Plaza of the city.  He was working in a restaurant and saw us walking by.  He was Baptized in Campo Grande.  When he moved to Caceres he didn't know if the church was here.  He was happy to know that there is a Branch and wants to start activity in the church.  Tonight at this Branch Activity we saw Isaque.  He is preparing to serve a Mission.  We were very happy to hear this news.  Miracles happen everyday here in this MIssion.  We love it here!

Mission Story

March 4, 2015

This YM's name is Isaque.  It was probably 10 months ago that President Reber and I were in Caceres.  We were out in the Plaza. He worked in a restaurant there and happened to notice us.   Isaque is a baptized member.  He was baptized in Campo Grande and since, moved to Caceres.    He came up to us and asked if we were the Mission President?  We said "yes". then he started telling us his story.  Since he moved to Caceres he hasn't been active.  He didn't know if the Church was in Caceres.  He was excited to see us there and to know that there is a Branch herein Caceres.  We took his name and contact information and gave it to the Branch Mission Leader.  This week we were in Caceres again attending their Branch weekly activity.  Isaque was there also.  Today Isaque is preparing to serve a Mission.  We were so excited to see him!  Stories like this are awesome! 

Exercising

 This week in our MLT,  President  asked the missionaries if they were exercising? Just what we thought, very little exercising going on in the MIssion. They admit that they do not do it! Probably only 5% of our missionaries exercise at all. He then asked how many push-up they could do? When he get's to the one that can do the most he asks him to come up to the front, takes off his suitcoat and hit the floor. After that I said to the missionaries "What about President?" They all whoop and hollar when President Reber takes off his suitcoat and shows them 46 push-up! They loved it! It was pretty fun! He impressed them all. They all comment that they are going to start!

Very Impressed with these 50 push-ups these Elder pumped out!  

House Checks

It is impossible in our large Mission to check our Missionaries houses.  We have found this to be the next best waygood to do.  Housing checks by photos. Housing checks are done by the Elder's sending in photos of their houses.  Each transfer this has to be done.  I want to see the Kitchen, Study Tables, Bedrooms, Bathroom, Toilet, Refrigerator, Microwave and over (opened) and the stove.  The first Zone to get their pictures in received a prize at the MLT.  It is just a way to make it fun and modivate.
